Welcome to Moor Otters

We hope you appreciate and enjoy the Moor Otters Trail with 100 wonderful pieces of art that have been created by our superbly talented artists from the local region and other parts of the UK.

We chose the otter as it is one of our indigenous species that was close to disappearing from Dartmoor, but is now making a strong comeback.

We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to so many people who have participated in this wonderful initiative, not least the brilliantly talented artists who participated and contributed their time and talents to create this unique public arts trail. We would also like to thank South West Water, our main supporter and the business community in general, who have been so supportive of this project, and the individual companies who have Adopted and Sponsored our Moor Otters. And, of course, weโ€™d like to thank you for taking part in the trail and by doing so, making this unique project so much fun and so worthwhile.

Donโ€™t forget, if you would like to own any individual piece of Moor Otter art, we are giving everybody the opportunity, both locally and around the world, to make an online bid for their favourite otter. In addition, there will be a Live Auction later in the year which will raise valuable funds to enable the park to continue conserving the landscape for current and future generations to enjoy.
